I’m an Assistant Professor at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, working on optical networks, complex systems engineering, and event-oriented simulation.
I hold a degree in Telematics Civil Engineering from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (with the Federico Santa María y Carrera distinction) and a Ph.D. in Complex Systems Engineering from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (2018).
Research
My work focuses on optical networks and telecommunications systems:
- Network resource allocation and optimization
- Event-oriented simulation methodologies
- Quality of Service (QoS) in optical networks
- Complex systems modeling
I’ve developed an event-oriented simulator in C++ that I use for most of my research, enabling detailed network performance analysis across different scenarios.
Collaboration
I collaborate with the Investigación en Redes Ópticas (IRO) research group. I’m open to new research collaborations, supervising graduate students, and working on telecommunications and network engineering projects.
Check out my publications and projects, or contact me if you’re interested in collaborating.
